Single for Cancer Research released on iTunes, 19th November 2007

Inscribe Music has released the Bob Purvis composition ‘Sail Away’ as a digital only release in aid of Cancer Research UK. Inscribe has worked in partnership with the Newcastle Dance Centre and Encore Dance Entertainment Group to finalise the project. 50p from the sale of each download of ‘Sail Away’ will be paid to Cancer Research UK Trading, which gives its taxable profits to Cancer Research UK. The song will be available exclusively on iTunes.

Produced and arranged by John Barham, ‘Sail Away’ features the vocal of 16-year old Kieron Boston. Inscribe Music is grateful to Mavis Whiteside at the Newcastle Dance Centre for her help in introducing us to Kieron.

Recorded and mixed at BaseHQ studio in Newcastle, the song was mastered by Jon Astley, the leading mastering engineer, well-known for his work with Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Eagles, Eric Clapton and the re-master of ‘All Things Must Pass’ for George Harrison released in 2001.
